sloopsailor Posted December 22, 2009 #26 Share Posted December 22, 2009 An awkward name to spell. I have a hard enough time trying to spell Milineum....Milyneeum....Mallaynieum....darn it! I'll just stick with "Millie", and now "Sillie".
Rare brazilgirl Posted December 23, 2009 #27 Share Posted December 23, 2009 Sounds like the name of a diet pill or shake. Not cool. really doesn´t "go" with the other names. Oh well , I am sure it´ll be lovely anyway. Kim
AJD Posted December 23, 2009 #28 Share Posted December 23, 2009 Doesn't sound like the name is a big hit here. However, we sailed the Equinox on her inaugural TA, plan the same on the Eclipse so it would seem "Silly" not to do this one as well. Welcome home from the Odyssey Arno, I see you don't have too long before the next. Merry Christmas and happy New Year. John.

Rare Germancruiser Posted December 24, 2009 #30 Share Posted December 24, 2009 Personally I like the name- even if it is the Name of MDR of Equinox, better as those dublicates as " Dream, Splendour and so on. At least it is a unique name. Anyway I am suprised they even built No 4 and No 5 with the crisis gonig on and on.
terrierjohn Posted January 6, 2010 #31 Share Posted January 6, 2010 Welcome to the dark shadowy world of the sinister Celebrity Silhouette. Then again perhaps not the sort of advertising spiel that the RCI spin doctors will recommend. I don't really see that it fits in with all the other X names, it seems to me that it's more the obverse of all the other celestial names. But it's quite a pleasant name, and I assume it will be become acceptable in time, although as has been said already it will get shortened to the "Sillie".
