bzv143 Posted December 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 25, 2009 Have been trying without success to get ahold of Glory Tours so we now are stuck with no tour guide and landing in Barbados in 2 days (Sunday). Do you think a taxi will be fine for an island day tour with lunch, or does anyone have any quick recommendations?
Aplmac Posted December 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 25, 2009 If you do nothing else.. just get a taxi to take you out to ATLANTIS Hotel for lunch. This is your lunch view at Atlantis! :) Atlantis is at Tent Bay/Bathsheba -on the scenic East Coast of the island. Bathsheba Bathsheba On the way there -and on the way back- you'll see a good cross-section of island scenery in addition to what's on the East Coast. Your driver will no doubt suggest this or that photo stop, en route and that will fill out your day. ......................................... St.John's Church on the way to Atlantis will fit right in, as will doing the East Coast Road after lunch, on the way to Farley Hill maybe or even the Wildlife Reserve(right next door to Farley Hill) where you'll see the Bajan Green Monkeys - and thence back to the ship. You have a full day ahead of you! .
