Carnival's Grand Tour from Colon

We're trying to decide which excursion to take while in Panama in early February (Carnival Miracle 1/31/10 sailing).

The "Grand Tour" sounds interesting and I'm wondering if anyone has any feedback on it. The description (below) is pretty abbreviated!

Thanks!

Grand Tour

Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the world’s most incredible ecosystems, some of the most amazing tribal cultures in the world, as well as the eighth wonder of the world, the Panama Canal.

On this amazing excursion you will:

  • Witness the multitude of species of plant life, birds, mammals and reptiles, from your small boat.
  • Proceed near the banks of the Gatun Lake to see the Embera Indians.
  • Visit the famous Gatun Locks of the Panama Canal.

Sounds basically like what we did about 10 days ago, but with MyFriendMario. No wildlife viewing from the canoe other than some birds.

It looks like Carnival wants $150 pp for this. We paid $80 pp and it was truly one of the best excursions I've ever had.

I just finished my review and I linked it in a thread here about MyFriendMario.
