hlsess Posted January 14, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2005 Is there a dolphin swim in Grand Cayman? I seem to only find one in Cozumel. Thanks
cayman_bound Posted January 14, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2005 Sorry. They have Manta Rays at Stingray City, Turtles at the Turtle Farm, Butterflies at the Butterfly House, Roosters in Georgetown, Tourists everywhere. . . . but no dolphins. We did the Dolphin excursion in Cozumel. Got a nice photo here of me being kissed by the dolphin.
zydecocruiser Posted January 14, 2005 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2005 The most common ray in GC is the southern stingray. There are eagle rays and a few manta rays, but I've never seen a manta ray there. Resistance to a dolphin facility also comes from organizations outside of the Caymans. There are several that don't want them anywhere.
