Deck 7 Aft cabin

Recommended Posts

Is there a difference in the aft cabins by deck? We just changed our room to 7674 on Brilliance because of all the rave about Aft cabins on this board. Anyone stayed on a Radiance class aft cabin, deck 7?

We have stayed aft on both decks 7 and 8 on the Brilliance. We also stayed on deck 9 on the side. Aft is much better. Deck 8 was better than Deck 7 just because the Colony Club is directly underneath deck 7, and also when there are puffs of smoke coming out of the back of the ship (not sure if this was from the engines or the recylcing machine)deck 7 is much closer.

If you have the choice of Aft on deck 7 or on the side of any deck, I would always choose Aft.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info Guernseycruiser. We've got cabin 7676 for the 01/03/05 cruise on the Brilliance. We've had aft on AOS & EOS in the past and loved them both. Do you hear much from the colony club while on 7?

We had 7674 on Brilliance in April. Just loved this room and big balcony! Never saw any puffs of smoke another poster mentioned. We tried to book the same cabin on Brillliance 4-8-05, but it was taken. Happily, 7676 was available! The only negative to Radiance class aft cabins would be the long walk to the elevators at mid-ship. Didn't bother us...helps to burn calories. But if someone had mobility problems that long walk should be considered when booking.
