Rocky2006 Posted January 9, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2010 Hi everyone, we are booked on the Splendor for the Feb. 7/10 sailing in cabin 9201. It is called an interior with pirture window obstructed view. Has anyone stayed in one of these cabins? They are at the very front of the ship on the Lido Deck. Pictures? Thanks :D
Sargent_Schultz Posted January 9, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2010 The obstruction is the deck railing and sometimes the backs of people (or lower). You will be able to see what the weather is like. At nights you need to keep the drapes pulled to avoid your lights interfering with the bridge and also so we can't see what you are doing. firefly333 Posted January 9, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2010 You are actually looking at a wall!!! You cant really see over the wall is why they are considered obstructed. ... unless these are different on splendor than on other conquest class ships. The deck that these face onto do not get too much traffic. It was only us and the paint crew taking a break.
Sargent_Schultz Posted January 9, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 9, 2010 Like I said, a railing. Something like this:
firefly333 Posted January 9, 2010 #6 Share Posted January 9, 2010 The ones on Conquest I have seen, the deck to walk around on is in front of that wall (or rail you call it). .. and its higher on Conquest at least on the decks I checked out. You can barely see the water, depending on how tall you are.
