Charging for Kids Club on Carnival

Hi, I am just about ready to book the Carnival Legend and wanted to see if anyone can clarify the charges for the kids club. I may be misremembering since I've been reading about several different cruise lines, but does carnival charge for the club except for the hours of babysitting of 10:00 to 3:00 a.m.? Or do the charge for the days you are in port too? Thanks in advance! Jessica

No charge for port days. They do close for a time at lunch though - no child care available, so someone has to pick the child up before noon.

They used to keep them all day if you left the ship. But they "encourage" you to pick them up if you are onboard. I did remember one time they said you could only do that if you had a Carnival excursion. But I started getting angry and she said it was ok. Things might have changed in the last year so...

The Kids Clubs are included in the price of your cruise. There is after hour babysitting and pj parties available for about $6hr. There might be a discount for siblings.

 

 

There are some 'kid' activities that require pay--Build-a-Bear, the Club O2 excursion.
