pepsiwoman4711 Posted January 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2010 We're looking to cruise next summer with our son who will be around 9 months, depending on when we decide to go. My husband and I are both experienced cruisers as a couple so we're looking for the best fit for a cruise for our little one. Can anyone make any suggestions for cruises with the following things as wishes we'd like to have on a cruise? -Royal Caribbean or Carnival -splashpad for baby since he won't be potty trained yet -a ship that goes to port(s) that have baby favorable things to do, like cabanas, beaches, etc. -a shorter cruise, preferably 3-5 days Can anyone suggest some ships and ports to look at? Thanks!
cb at sea Posted January 11, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2010 At nine months, it won't matter one iota to the baby. Pick the cruise that best suits YOU! Only a few RCI ships have water areas for diapered children. Don't know about that on Carnival ships.... Shoot---you're so close to almost every Florida port, you can take your pick! sailinglisa Posted January 11, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 11, 2010 Freedom, Liberty, Independence, Oasis of the Seas. Week long cruises, but these ships have a small area in the H2O zone that is specifically for non-potty trained infants/toddlers to play in. All of the caribbean islands have beaches with shade. I agree with CB - pick an itinerary that suits YOU and then check the ports of call board for more info.
