Port of Miami to PBI - best car rental option from port

We are cruising in February. We need a rental car from Port of Miami to PBI. I have it worked out for getting there just not coming home. Which is closest car rental company does anyone work at port? I think a taxi would cost a lot. We are a family of 5. Any advice on shuttles or car rental would be appreciated.

Hertz has a downtown Miami location and a shuttle to/from POM. Good luck:)
