Which Louis Cruise Line ship Aegean Pearl or Aquamarine?

For those who have been on the Louis Cruise Line ships "Agean Pearl or "Aquamarine", I would appreciate any good/bad information.

 

We are planniing a 5 day 4 night cruise from Piraeus to the Greek Isles beginning of June. Since both ships sail on the same day to the same islands, I'm trying to decide which ship to take.

I have only been on A.Pearl, when she was still Perla, in '06.

Looking at Berlitz '09, they give A.Pearl 918 out of 2000 points,

Aquamarine 1084 out of 2000.

I would go along with Berlitz's view that the ships are for no frills destination intensive cruising.

We loved the experience, because of the destinations, which meant little time on the ship.

However, the ship was clean; the food ample; the ambience friendly and quite young- a bit hippy, with back-packers and many nationalities.- jocap.
