copper river

We are taking the 17S cruisetour in Aug/Sept. So far, we will probably be doing the helicopter glacier landing in Juneau, and the Misty Fjords flighseeing in Ketchican. I don't even do roller coasters so this is causing me a little anxiety. Anyway, we will be at Copper River for a day. Everyone says to take the flightseeing tour there. Obviously, I am looking for an easy out here. I have seen some ATV and jetboat tours. Are they any good or should I just suck it up, take some Xanax and fly over Copper River. Thanks:eek:

I think the clear winner here is the fly in to Kennicott mine for the day tour. You are limited with no transportation because the Richardson is just wonderful for a drive to Valdez. If there are shuttles- eat at the Copper Center Roadhouse- the best food in the area. :) The jet boat is ok if you go that route again- you can drive by with some views of it. Have no clue about the ATV's??
