An alternative to lanyards

When preparing for our last cruise I bought lanyards for us to use while on board. While shopping I found a really small purse ($5 Wally world) with detachable shoulder strap. The purse is just large enough form my camera, my sign & sail, my coke card a little cash, lip stick and my phone. It was small enough and the strap long enough to wear across my body and leave my hands free with out being intrusive. I thought it was great and have used it a lot since. Especially when shopping and traveling as it will fit under a coat or jacket and makes less of a target for pickpockets. I just thought I would share!

Uppity, While we were on a Ren cruise in France, we had to come & go outta port according to the tide. We needed to get out & 1 Couple wasn't on the boat. They found a cop, showed them their passport copies & got a police escort to the ship so we wouldn't be stuck in the mud & they wouldn't miss the ship! Needless to say, that taught us to carry ours too! Keep the info in your pocket, you never know!
