kmks1 Posted January 16, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2010 Has anyone here been on the Royal Princess? Can you tell me about the Ship please? We are booking for 4/10/10 and would like to know a little about the Ship, anything you could provide would be appreciated, thanks in advance! paul929207 Posted January 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2010 The Royal is one of the three (with the Ocean & Pacific) little girls in the Pacific fleet. She holds about 700 passengers. Since she is small, you get to know the other passengers and crew much better than you do on the big ships. There are few if any lines. The Royal has no mini-suites (her sisters do) and since she only has one dining room there is no Anytime Dining.
caribill Posted January 16, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 16, 2010 As mentioned above, the Royal is a sister to the Ocean (formerly Tahitian) with the main differences being no-mini suites and the internet cafe in a different location. You can see pictures of the Ocean (formerly Tahitian) at http://fp.caribill.com/ and what you see there is what the Royal looks like.
Rauld Posted January 16, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 16, 2010 kmks1--we will also be on this cruise. We have quite an active roll call on this site. If you have a chance drop by and meet some of your fellow cruisers before we sail!

ExDean Posted January 17, 2010 #6 Share Posted January 17, 2010 Try beyondships.com and look for the Royal. A very good picture tour with commentary.
