How many cars, minivans, passengers vans need to be rented?

We are a group of 13 (10 adults, 1 child and 2 infants) for a precruise in Miami.

 

I want to know, how many cars, and what type, I need to rent for all my group + luggage + 2 strollers?

I would say that depending on the minivans, you could probably rent 2 minivans and be good. Many of the rentals have the stow n go storage that would be great for luggage and they typically seat 7 people.

 

If you really wanted extra space, then 2 minivans and 1 regular car would be good.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the "stow n go storage"?

Yes, like a dodge caravan or whatever the rental company has.

 

Last year, we had a rental van when our van was being repaired and it had stow n go storage as well as covered storage in the back.

 

Basically, there are covered storage spots in the floor of the van that the seats can be folded into or you can put stuff in them. And, some of them have the same storage spots in the back so it makes for extra room.

Most cabs will carry 4 persons....vans can carry more...
