PR Cruisers Posted January 18, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2010 We are a group of 13 (10 adults, 1 child and 2 infants) for a precruise in Miami. I want to know, how many cars, and what type, I need to rent for all my group + luggage + 2 strollers?
SuperCoolOne Posted January 18, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2010 I would say that depending on the minivans, you could probably rent 2 minivans and be good. Many of the rentals have the stow n go storage that would be great for luggage and they typically seat 7 people. If you really wanted extra space, then 2 minivans and 1 regular car would be good. Minivans like Caravan? Pardon my ignorance, but what is the "stow n go storage"?
SuperCoolOne Posted January 18, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 18, 2010 Yes, like a dodge caravan or whatever the rental company has. Last year, we had a rental van when our van was being repaired and it had stow n go storage as well as covered storage in the back. Basically, there are covered storage spots in the floor of the van that the seats can be folded into or you can put stuff in them. And, some of them have the same storage spots in the back so it makes for extra room.
