Lido Deck Cabins on the Emerald

Thanks. I guess I'll see if I can change our cabin. We did cat. BA on the Caribe Deck on the Crown. I loved the balcony but hated always being in an evelator to go anywhere. The Lido Deck looked so convenient! So, if I can't get a cabin on the other side of the elevators I guess we'll move to Caribe again.

We are booked on the Star....great pricing with past pax price. I booked a cabin on Baja but we will inquire if we can move to Lido. We are doing an inside so the access to the pool and hc area is appealing.

You and Tami should join us

We have just booked a Lido cabin (BA) on the Emerald. I checked to see what was above us and it's the Wedding Chapel. Can anyone tell me about these Lido Deck cabins as far as noise?

We have twice been on Lido, Crown and Star. For us it was a superb location, easy to get to the outside areas and very quiet. The is very little 'traffic' as there are relatively few rooms. Perhaps the only downside would be that is much further from the International Cafe.

We would take Lido any and everytime.

I think it depends on where you are.

If you are forward of the elevators on lido, then I agree.

If you are between the elevators, and the pool area, then there is

a lot of traffic from the lido open deck to the elevators.

Additionally, in the carribbean, these corridors are usually hot from

the doors to the open deck being open frequently/constantly.

Yes that is probably true about traffic rear of the elevators. We didn't fine heat an issue though but sometimes the wind would funnel down that part or the corridoor. Still a great location for us though.

My sentiments, exactly. There was so much traffice that it felt more like a Promenade deck. I liked being so close to all the poolside activities and the pizza......but to fight-off the crowds of people who used this hallway as short-cut wasn't worth it.
