Self Disembarktion - Non US Citizens

I am disembarking at San Diego with no rush to leave the ship as I am staying in the city for a couple of days.

I am Canadian.

Can I walk all my luggage off the ship?

This means no putting it out for pick up the night before etc and no having to find my stuff in the luggage area.

What would be the immigration process anyways?

I would appreciate the collective expertise of Cruise Critic members.

Thank you very much

I recently did Equinox and did self debarkation. We carried our luggage off the ship and when we got to immigration there were two ways to go, to the right was US citizens and the left were non=us citizens. There were people going into both lines so I would say there is no problem.
