Munich Tour Companies

We will be spendiing two full days in Munich after our river cruise and I was wondering if you could steer me to a company for a couple of good tours in and around Munich.

Living in Munich for more than 30 years now I´m not usually going on sightseeing tours :D. Anyway here´s the website of the Munich tourist office with links to tour operators:

I usually recommend the Hop On Hop Off Bus tour which is a one hour narrated tour:

This is also the Gray Line tour operator for Munich. They also offer day trips to Neuschwanstein Castle and other places.

 

But you can also easily explore my hometown on your own! We do have an excellent public transportation system.

I love Munich and agree that the hop on hop off is good intro for first timers. This is an easy city to navigate on your own and there is much to see. I would research and see what really appeals to you and go from there. Two days is not much time but will give you a nice feel for this city.

 

I have been 6 times and always find the city to be vibrant and interesting.

 

Tripadvisor.com is a great source for trip reports, suggested itineraries, etc. Go to their forum on Munich and there is a wealth of info for your reading pleasure!
