Better cruise for a three year old?

Would a Carnival cruise to Mexico or the Bahamas be better?

how long of a cruise, short or 7 day? Which ships? which port is closer to you?

 

we just did the mexican riviera (Nick cruise on the RCCL Mariner of the seas) with our 4 year old and 8 year old this past summer and loved it!

I did an Alaskan cruise with my just turned 4 year old, and found that waaaay better than a Caribbean cruise. :p

A 3 year old really won't care....it's up to you to do what YOU want...a small child will have fun if parents are happy!

You mean like Cozumel Mexico verses Nassau Bahamas? Or Progesso Mexico verses Freeport Bahamas? ;)

 

I've found some kid friendly things to do in Naussau....but my kids have also had fun in Cozumel and Freeport.

 

So what does mommy want? :D

3 year olds are pretty easy to please. As long as the cruise has fun time (Camp Carnival), ice cream (Lido Deck), and maybe even some sand for sand castles they really probably couldn't care less. So just figure out what you want to do!

I don't have an answer, but what I would base my decision on would be the ease of getting to the beach/something to do in each port (do I have to bring a car seat; can I walk with a stroller) and if there is a difference between being able to drive (or have to fly) to embark.

 

I know we would all prefer the Carib, but we do the Mexican Riviera because we can drive to the port and there is something to do that's walkable in each port.
