39august Posted January 25, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2010 The deck plans of Equinox show larger balconies on the next to last cabin before the aft facing cabins on decks 7, 8, and 9, i.e. 7305, 7354, 8341, 8330, 9295 and 9366. Is this correct? Deck plans indicate that the aft balconies are NOT larger than the side balconies. Is this correct? We are used to always having aft cabins for HUGE balconies on RCI. And is there a wine package that saves a little money over buying by the bottle?
FinelyCruising Posted January 25, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2010 Go to the top of the Celebrity Forum page to the sticky(s). Look for the post stated by Mysticks and you will find tons of information on particular cabins. The largest balcony cabins are the ones ahead of and just behind the humps. Not so at the aft. We are on the Solstice and in cabin 1552 which is on the hump therefore larger balcony. There are no beverage packages which we feel give you a savings. Celebrity is new to the package offerings so nothing yet is good. happy sailing Claudette

There was a post on stick(s) saying the 7305 was larger, however the poster was in the 7303 and stated it was normal size.

She said they MAY be by the fall.
encoresue2 Posted January 31, 2010 #6 Share Posted January 31, 2010 We are booked in 8343 on Equinox in March....and YES, the balcony is quite a bit larger (and covered) per a post on the sticky about cabin numbers/spreadsheet and well as specific comments from Mazza from Australia who stayed in that cabin. The very last cabin on each side at the rear just before the sky suites seem to have larger balconies...suspect it is on most decks.

Keep a lookout every day to see if they open up. happy sailing Claudette
