Lobster night?

I was on Adventure last August - lobster was 2nd formal night as usual. Our waiter offered seconds before anyone asked - several takers! :) Then there was one left - no one wanted it - so he kept asking me, finally I said sure! I'm pretty sure I heard one (very skinny) woman at the table gasp. The heck with her - I'll never see her again, and 3 lobster tails is less than one 2-pound lobster, which I consider a meal! :p

Really sad - on the Independence earlier this month the lobster was SO undercooked it was the consistency of mashed potatoes. Fortunately even my 5 year old had the good sense to spit it out so no one got sick. It was enough to put me off lobster for a good long time. Hope your dh has a better experience...

Just off a 12 day with three formal nights - no lobster to be seen anywhere I'm afraid.

Sorry, I meant to say 14 nights.

I wasn't bothered, but no lobster at all is probably not good enough for a respected cruise line in a highly competitive marketplace.

Still, the Oasis class ships have to be paid for some how.

Just off the Oasis, and had a nice lobster tail with my prime rib, our waiter said that was no problem. Next day in the Solarium, which on Oasis has a small "health-conscious" buffet, there were lobster tails, apparently extras from lobster night! Won't say how many I had, but it wasn't pretty.!

RCCL does not do lobster in the Med or Middle East cruises (which is where you were) anymore due to quality control issues.
