cruisemama69 Posted January 27, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2010 If you book a shore excursion through Carnival and it is cancelled, does CCL give you your money back or do they put it on ship credit? I called Carnival and rep on phone wasnt sure.

Nannersmom Posted January 27, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2010 We were given ship credit, as we did not spend the amount of the "refund" the remaining amounts were credited back to the credit card we used when booking the excursion.
mlzangel78 Posted January 27, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 27, 2010 just also an FYI on this.,, if they give you back a ship credit for anything and you dont USE it,, you will get the refund back in cash or check at the end of the cruise dependant upon the amount... cruisemama69 Posted January 28, 2010 Author #6 Share Posted January 28, 2010 good to know. Since we are taking a shore excursion in Alaska and were advised it gets cancelled about 40% of the time and it is very expensive, wanted to know policy. There is no way we'd use all this onboard credit if it gets cancelled. thanks
