Key Card Lanyard

My daughter liked the key card neck lanyard she picked up on her last Carnival cruise. They were supposed to be for casino patrons, but the kids all wore them. The casino workers punched ahole in the card. Does anyone Know if NCL does the same, or I'll pick one up by a street vendor

I bought mine a few cruises back in the gift shop on the NCL ship. I now bring it with me and always go to the cash area where they punch a hold in my key card. So to answer your question, yes they sell them in the gift shops on board and I have seen them in red, blue, and yellow with NCL printed on them.

Sometimes they are available in the casino if you sign up for the CAS card, but they don't always have a supply of them. They are coiled plastic, not like those they sell in the gift shop.

The reception desk will punch a hole for you in your card.

I bought 50 lanyards online for about $.60 each and gave them out at our Dawn meet and greet. I asked for $1 donation and most did that...still much cheaper than onboard and we all had the same bright color lanyard for the week which helped identify us to each other later.

You can get a lanyard at most Wal Mart stores in the office supply section in most stores.

I bring my own but mine is slightly different. The lanyard has a plastic at the end of it that is just slightly larger than the keycard so I don't have to get my keycard punched. I just put it in the pliable plastic. It's easy for me to get the card out when I need to use it.

You made a killin' on that deal! LOL :D

Just kidding. I'm sure with shipping charges the lanyard's were well over $1.

That's a good idea for a M&G crowd.

We bought them on the Star in the gift shop last month. They had a TON of them in several colors. Even my 16 yr old wore one after she left her key in the room a few times. I think I spent less than $3 a piece, and they punched the hole right there at the cashier counter.
