Emerald and ordering alcohol

My friend wants to know if you can purchase a full liter or fifth of alcohol once on board for your cabin.?

Any alcohol purchased onboard will be held until the last day of the cruise.

 

Best bet is to buy it before you board and carefully pack it in your checked luggage.

Oh, I so wish we could still order liters from room service, but that rule changed several years ago. Now, the only sized bottle you can order is a 375 ML (and the price is the same as they used to charge for the liters). So, the answer is no, not any more. :(

I was so bummed when I realised that all you can order is a 375 ml bottle. Isn't that a pint? The prices are expensive too. May have to sneak one of those puppies in my suitcase. I remember buying a liter of vodka about 5 years ago from room service and thinking that the prices were really reasonable. I guess they realised they could make more money if people bought drinks instead.
