farewell party- Freedom- free drinks

The farewell party was listed in the Capers but it didn't say anything about free drinks there. We heard it from someone on Lido and asked our waiter. Sure enough, drinks were flowing for an hour or so. It was in the lounge in the back of the boat and though the room was full it would have been packed if everyone on the ship knew this.

 

Not sure if they do this on other ships but it's worth checking into. If this was offered before we never knew about it. Thought I'd pass it on!:)

Yes, its true on all ships as has been posted on all the theads regarding the captain's party free drinks have been moved to the farewell party.

They have combined it into one session so one would expect wall to wall people.

Part of reducing expenditures.........if everyone does not see it or know what it is....there will be less people showing up for it.

Yes, but there were still people there that would grab 4 or 5 drinks at a time that were still sitting there after they left. What a waste!!
