Covered Balcony Cabins

Have never cruised on RCI - always on Princess - planning on going on Liberty of The Seas and was wondering if someone can tell me if all balconies are covered or just certain decks & what is best deck to book a balcony room that is covered. Thanks a lot for your help in advance!!!!

Unlike Princess, all the balconies on RC ships are covered.

They are all covered by the deck above, but it's in NO WAY "cave-like"...you will have plenty of light and breeze... You will have a totally open view of the heavens, if you stand near the railing...it's lovely. No rain, and shade (in hot climes!) and plenty of ambiant light.

I would hate an "open" balcony where everyone above could look down on me!
