ntengwall Posted February 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Just wondering if the machines in the arcade cost anything for the kids (tokens or coins)? Thanks

marci22 Posted February 2, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2010 They suck down the tokens, and the prize grabbers don't give you any prizes. btw if the kids do the kids' club thing, usually they set aside one hour during the cruise for the specific age groups to have a free hour of play at the arcade. No prize games though.
boulders Posted February 2, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Oh, you betcha it does! :D There is a machine at the entrance to insert the SeaPass card in to give it credits for the machine. You can add up to $20/time I think. You then swipe the SeaPass card to pay for the game. Games are in the range of $1 and UP. If it's your kids who are going to play the arcade games, it's best to talk to them before the cruise about what the monetary limits for arcade games will be. You can monitor everyone's SeaPass charges via the TV.
dad son team Posted February 2, 2010 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Not at all. They are actually very expensive. You need to be careful if your kids are unsupervised because many people have been surprised by large Seapass account charges from the arcade. The kids can just run their card into a machine and get credits on their card unbeknownst to parents. Another good reason to turn off the signing privledges on your kids card.
