terryde Posted February 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2010 We're leaving Sat. and want to explore some other areas on our fourth trip to GC. Have asked before but no response and searched but not much there. What is there to see in Bodden town itself? They say they were putting in a new beach this year - anyone know if they did? Anyone go to restaurants there?

In Bodden Town, there is Pedro Castle (which is where the first democratic movement was made in Cayman Islands), the Pirate Caves. Other than that, there's not much to do in Bodden Town. bookbabe Posted February 3, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 3, 2010 Anyone go to restaurants there? There are only a couple of restaurants there that I know of, and neither is a major tourist destination as far as I can tell...they're roadside bar/jerk stands. A bit further east, in Breakers, is The Lighthouse...it's really good. http://www.caymangoodtaste.com/restaurants_detail.asp?restaurantID=
