giginevelyn Posted February 9, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2010 Can anyone tell me how tall one has to be to go on the ship's water slide? Many thanks!
firefly333 Posted February 9, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2010 I think for ships that the slide ends in water its 48 inches, if it doesnt end in water its 42 inches. so it varys by ship and which slides the ship has.

*Mach* Posted February 9, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 9, 2010 The height requirement is 42 inches with the exception of the Elation and the Paradise, both of which still have slides that empty into the pools... In those two cases the height requirement is 48 inches... :)

highbridge5 Posted February 9, 2010 #7 Share Posted February 9, 2010 My youngest appeared to be tall enough - just at the limit based on the wooden "you have to be this tall" thing at the bottom of the slide. When he got to the top, there was a Carnival employee there and at this point he was told that he was too short and could not go on. Disappointed is a gross understatement to describe the resulting feelings of this decision on my 4 year old. He spent the next 30 minutes trying to drag DH up the stairs - even after they closed it due to high winds. If we had known that he was going to be turned away, we would have split the kids up and taken the 4 yo to mini-golf or something so he did know that he was missing out on something the brothers were doing. hb5
