CarlyJoann Posted January 19, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2005 Are computers available on the Carnival Spirit to download digital camera pictures? If so, will Carnival allow you to load your camera software onto the computer?
sandeecb Posted January 19, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2005 Sorry but No - they are very strict about there computers. I believe they even have the hard drive out of view so that it can't be tampered with.

That's probably a good thing LOL.....would be a computer wonks nightmare and probably a reason people bring laptops (never know what kind of monitoring software might be installed.) I know I certainly wouldn't want any of my pics on a Carnival computer.

kimberlys Posted January 19, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 19, 2005 I thought i read somewhere that you can take it to the photo place onboard and they can do it for you and put it on CD. Maybe someone will come along that knows for sure. kim

rhecker Posted January 19, 2005 #7 Share Posted January 19, 2005 the conquest had a photo kiosk to download and print 4x6 prints. I did it each day. The cost was 50 cents per print and the quality was exceptional.

As cheap as memory cards have become.......Why not buy an extra card ? They've really come down in price! If not, I'd go for burning a disk if they have the service.. I'd never want to print and then delete my images........
parmus Posted January 20, 2005 #11 Share Posted January 20, 2005 my plan is to buy another memory card, or if you can't afford it, maybe you could borrow some from your neighbors...........
