Voyager - tv's in JS - bring dvd player??

Hello..We are sailing on the Voyager out of Galveston this weekend in a JS. Have they replaced the older TVs with flat screens [yet] and can we plug in a portable dvd player?? We were on the Explorer this past Nov in a JS and new tvs but could not hook in the player. Nice for movie time with our 6 year old. Otherwise, I will leave the player at home. Thanks!

Leave the player at home, all ports on the TV´s are disabled.

They always have some sort of "family friendly" movie playing on tv.....over and over and over.....

So would an RF modulator work? aka - is the existing hookup via a normal coax-cable (like what you have @ home)? I've got alittle box that'll play video on channel 3 or 4.

We were in a cabin that had the old style CRT TV. My husband commented that he was glad he didn't bring anything to plug into the TV because it wouldn't have worked. I'm not sure if there were any connectors available, or not.

 

I just know they had issues all week with the "RCTV". We were never able to do anything on the interactive TV. They said it was an IT issue.

We travel with a small laptop and use that as a DVD player when out son wants to watch a movie. He can sit anywhere in the cabin and use headphones as well.
