racegirl-24 Posted February 16, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2010 Lets say I want to get an iced latte in the morning from the International Cafe then a fresh brewed coffee at lunch from the buffet & an espresso after dinner in the MDR, would all these be covered by the coffee card? Also, I'm assuming that I need to bring the card w/me to the MDR so the waiter can punch it??? Anyone just off the Carribean Princess, can you remember what some of the drinks of the day were? Are all the bars open on embarkation day? Are there any Texas Hold'em tournaments? Is the casino open on embarkation day (while docked in San Juan)? Anything CLOSED on boarding day? -Lew- Posted February 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 16, 2010 I don't believe fresh brewed coffee is available in Horizon Court. The casino is never open while the ship is in port. Lew
bhopal21 Posted February 16, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2010 The casino is never open while the ship is in port. Lew That depends on the port but is generally correct. Last week on The Emerald the casino was open while we were docked in Grand Turk. Mike:)
Mike_DeA Posted February 22, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 22, 2010 If there is a poker table onboard, there will be a tournament. If it is the automated PokerPro video table, the Texas Holdem tournaments are one table tourtaments, meaning that each hour during that day, there is a 10 player tournament, usually paying the top two finishers If there is a physical poker table, they will do a "normal" tourament with as many participants as possible, paying the top 10% or so. If I recall correctly, the entry fee is under $100pp

Comment only on the coffee. I had a Lotte in the MDR almost every night, the do punch your coffee card. Then I asked for a Blue Mountain coffee in the MDR and was denied it though Princess does have it at the International coffee thing.?

Explorer Posted February 22, 2010 #7 Share Posted February 22, 2010 Is the coffee card good for unlimited coffee, or a set amount of servings?
PrincessNancy Posted February 22, 2010 #8 Share Posted February 22, 2010 Is the coffee card good for unlimited coffee, or a set amount of servings? The espresso coffee drinks (Latte's and mochas, etc) require a punch on your card...you get 15. Unlimited brewed coffee and hot chocolate as long as there is one unpunched spot left on your coffee card.
