Solstice Royal Suite or Sky Suite w/ Connecting Stateroom

Hi there,

We are considering Solstice but can't decide on the cabin. We are two adults and two teenage boys. It's between the royal suite and the sky suite connecting to another cabin.

Would love your thoughts.

Also, how comfortable is the sleeper sofa in the royal suite.

Thanks!

I saw that cabin.. it is very nice and large but the full bath is thru the bedroom.. lots of storage space.. only way onto the balcony is thru the LR.. not much for private time in the hot tub.. not built for 4.

i rather have an SS cabin-same perks and put the young men in their own cabin. you then have 2 full baths.

Depends on how you might use the rooms.

For us, not having a dining room is a non starter.

We have all breakfasts brought in..makes the mornings so much easier for a family... Also have been known to have dinner in as well...And my teen loves the hot tub.. The location on the RS also tend to be more mid ship, at least on S class.

Having one shower never bothers us- but could some folks.

Really depends on what you value...

I prefer the RS to any other room on board for a family of 4. But that is our opinion! You will have a great trip either way!

PS: The sofa bed in comfy- but not as comfy as a normal bed per DS.

since i eat outside i would never ue the table but for a dumping ground for clothes. which is not good.

i still rather have 2 rooms if the money was there.. also i sleep with the slider partly open- you can not open the slider in the bedroom.
