If you're JS or higher, it will be provided. If not, they have a dispenser of a combination shower gel and shampoo stuff. Probably best to bring your own!!! bluegirlum Posted February 22, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 22, 2010 If you're at all picky, bring your own! Have a great time!
cb at sea Posted February 22, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 22, 2010 Even if you're in a suite, bring what suits you....the supplied stuff in JS's is a shampoo/conditioner combo...not great for your hair!

On Serenade two weeks ago, we had separate bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, along with a wrapped bar of soap. We were in a JS.
champagne lover Posted February 22, 2010 #6 Share Posted February 22, 2010 I reckon it must vary from ship to ship. We were on Brilliance recently, JS, and had separate bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion etc. They were very good, Gilchrist & Soames, and replaced daily by cabin steward. OhioCruiserDude Posted February 22, 2010 #7 Share Posted February 22, 2010 On my last cruise on Liberty we had a balcony and we had soap & shampoo.
Happy ks Posted February 22, 2010 #8 Share Posted February 22, 2010 The shampoo provided dries out my hands, I fear it would do the same or worse to my hair. We don't use bar soap, don't care for fragranced lotions so....we just bring our own travel sized products from home. Another thing to note, the last 2 times I've been on a cruise (both RCI) the hairdryers cut off after about 5 minutes of constant use, my hair takes 10-15 minutes to blow dry. So I had to get a second blow dryer from the cabin steward. Since you never know if an extra will be available, I've decided a travel blow dryer is an essential as well. Theresa522 Posted February 22, 2010 #9 Share Posted February 22, 2010 Okay, well you have long or thick hair, I would HIGHLY suggest you bring your own hair dryer. The ones on the ship really stink, JMPO.

whyrlygig Posted February 22, 2010 #11 Share Posted February 22, 2010 I have waist length, thick and curly hair. The shampoo and conditioner (combo or not) are not great for me. All the hair dryers I have used on board have worked just fine though.
dmndlil Posted February 22, 2010 #12 Share Posted February 22, 2010 On Serenade two weeks ago, we had separate bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, along with a wrapped bar of soap. We were in a JS. We were just on the Explorer in a promenade room and also recieved the individual bottles as well as the shower dispender of the combo stuff.
