Having only cruised on Holland America before, I'd like to know if Windsurf gives you a small canvas tote bag on arrival and a beach towel at ports. Also on the St. Kitts/Martin/Barts etc cruise, is the ship in port or do we use tenders? Thanks -- we're really looking forward to sailing on a small ship!

On every Windstar cruise I've been on, we've received a canvas tote. Also, towels are available for you to take on shore.

Agree with Rugrats6, but I have to add that on my one Windstar cruise 3 years ago, I don't think that we got our tote bag on the first day -- I think it was more like day three...

We were on the St. Martin roundtrip cruise in January. Our tote bags were in the cabin when we boarded. They are all the same style but you get a "Foremast Club" bag if you're a Windstar alum. The beach towels are at the top of the gangway where you depart the ship. On this itinerary we were docked in St. Martin (arrival and departure), St. Kitts and Tortola. For all other ports, the ship was anchored and we tendered into the port.
