Parking in Baltimore

Hello!

I'm going on a Carnival cruise out of Baltimore July 18, and I'm assuming we can park at the port, but is that correct? (We're driving up from VA, so we won't be staying at a hotel).

If that is true, do they have secure parking lots?

Thanks!

We are cruising on the Pride out of Baltimore in Sept. We are considering staying at the Sleep Inn the night prior to the cruise. It's cheaper than parkiing at the pier ($88/night) and includes free parking for up to 14 days, free breakfast and free shuttle to the port and back. We only live 2 hrs. away, but it is so much nicer to be there in plenty of time, not having to worry about weather, flat tires, etc.

We sailed out of Baltimore in December and LOVED the experience. The port is very well run.

As you exit I 95 you dirve less than a half mile, enter the complex around the corner where the porters unload your luggage onto covered carts, park the car, pay them. and walk about 250 yards to the terminal building. You're on the boat.

On return, you walk off the ship, claim your bag, clear customs and get the heck out of Dodge, until the next time.

ENJOY

Our parking in Baltimore is $15 per night. The lots are well-lit and secured. All of our terminals, cargo and cruise, are patroled 24/7 by the Maryland Transportation Authority Police. Montekat's suggestion is also good if you need to come in the night before your cruise - we have numerous local hotels which offer some nice stay and cruise packages - visit our website http://www.cruisemaryland.com to find the hotel information. Enjoy your cruise.
