Something other than Baths

We will be in Tortola with MSC the first week of April. It is highly UNLIKELY that we will visit the Baths. Just not interested in the most popular place. Maybe next time.

 

We are considering the Island Panorama and Beach Tour through the cruiseline. It's a drive through the mountains and then to Elizabeth Beach. It's supposed to have some snorkeling spots off the beach.

 

I'm a non-swimmer that will go in with a snorkel vest. So snorkeling from the beach sounds right up my alley. Our time in port is brief, 7-2:30 which means back on the ship by 2:00. So a ship tour sounds good to us.

 

Thoughts on Elizabeth beach and Lambert Beach Resort?

Haven't been to Lambert's since they renovated it. The beach can have a very nasty undertow at times, be careful.

get off ship get bus or what ever 6.00 pp each way go to garden cove beach what ever they will tell you was the best short drive very clean and beautiful

Can you post some additional information about Garden Cove Beach? I have done an online search and cant seem to find anything.

I asked the waiter where to go thats how I knew about it was very nice clean and easy to get to

Maybe they mean cane Garden bay not garden cove.
