Wine Purchase in Seward

We are boarding in Seward for the South Bound 7 day Cruise to Vancouver....can anyone tell me if there are a few Wine stores in Seward where we can purchase some wine to take on Board....or are we better off to try and purchase some in Anchorage as we make our way by train to Seward.

 

We were wondering if Celebrity had a "duty free shop" or something similar at the Port area in Seward.

Safeway does not appear to have wine section in Seward. For further clarification, Seward has no "customs" etc. You do not hit that until Vancouver.

You will find a wine store at Safeway, its called 'Oak n Keg'. The liquor store is separate from the grocery store, and for your best price, sign up for the Safeway Card, its free and will give you the lower price posted on the wine. :). It's a walkable distance, about a mile from the cruiseship pier.
