There was an article in the paper concerning the Roayal Hudson. They are planning to have her ready to go in a bout a year-repairs are over $700K. So not this Summer,but 2006.Looking forward to waving to you!

Thanks for the update. I have toured the country traveling on old trains. Even took the Daylight from San Jose to Portland several years ago. Please keep me posted. I rode the Royal Hudson probably 10 years ago, we went by the station the evening before to see if we could see the train. Sure enough there were lights on in the shed and my son, snookered his way in and even got in the cab for a look, he was probably about 10. Of course my husband was close behind. :)
