Cabin Category breakdown

Hi,

 

Trying to find an explanation / description of cabin categories on Carnival.

 

I keep seeing 6E...R2D2 etc

 

And I'm confused:o

 

I've tried to search here and on Carnival...no luck!

All Cat 6 are Oceanview (Window) Cabins.. The "E" is just the location of that cabin and because some locations are better then others Carnival places a higher Letter and price on the better cabins. Like a 6B wont be as well located as your 6E and therefore will be cheaper and so on..

which ship so someone else can pull it up and look. 6E is different on say Glory than on a Fantasy class ship.

 

Im assuming you know what a 6E is .. you are asking about the R2D2?

I been haunting the boards and I see so much info regarding the types or cabins, I'm

just trying to find a breakdown for easy reference.

 

I'm looking at the Elation out of Mobile for next Feb, 20th anniversary cruise. :)

 

I'm just outside of Atlanta so we're looking at drive-able ports. 6-8 hours tops, a 12

hour return drive home might suck the joy out of my vacation.;)

I was going to say- R2D2 is a robot. Perhaps in some rooms they have placed them instead of the cabin stewarts?

If you go to Carnival's website, you can search their fleet. Click on "Ships and Life Onboard", then click on "Elation", then click "Staterooms". That should bring up all the different cabin categories.
