Complimentary Cruise offer from CAS on Latitudes Magazine?

Has any received a Latitudes magazine with a printing on the back from CAS saying to call for your complimentary cruise? I think it was delivered sometime between Oct and Dec 2009 featuring 2010 cruises. If anyone did get one of these offers, did you book and if so, was it through CAS or another department?

Thanks in advance,

Karen

Karen... I don't remember seeing that on the magazine, however you can do that at any time, as long as you have sailed with NCL before and played in their casino using a players club card. You can call CAS and see if you can get a discount on a cruise or even if your play was enough to get a comp'ed cruise. So far all but one of our cruises with NCL have been comp'ed and the one that wasn't comp'ed was our first one. If you are a player with Harrah's, you can call them as well and see what they can do for you.

Thanks Terry, I always book through CAS and have gotten comped cruises but I received two Latitudes mags a couple months ago and one had the offer on the back of the magazine. I called CAS and somehow wound up in the AZ offices who offered me 20% off. Of course I questioned that 20% off and complimentary were not the same. :) I then emailed the copy of the mag to the supervisor and was told that it was a Miami offer and to call the Miami CAS. I am calling them today so I will let you know what happens. I don't have a Harrahs' in my area so it couldn't have come from there either. I am just curious if anyone else has seen this offer since it seemed odd that it was on the back of Latitudes and not in a regular mailout. Thanks again! Karen

We got that offer on the back of our Latitudes magazine, called CAS and asked about the offer, they told me that we did not qualify for a comped cruise, but we did get the 17% discount for the Jewel in April. Just give them a call, worst case, they will say you don't qualify. Best case, you get a free cruise :)

I would agree with some earlier comments. The free would be for qualified and proven players. At one time, CAS was pretty open to looking at play from other casinos and offering free or seriously discounted cruises, but that seems to have stopped based on postings here.

Of course, free was never free. You still pay taxes and port charges and daily service charges. If booked via CAS, you do get free drinks while playing, but I figure each free beer I got cost me about $50.

Thanks Kelly. Thought I was going crazy! Glad someone else saw this thing. I called CAS Miami and they did send these out. My last several cruises have been comped and luckily (or unluckily ) I do qualify for another so it's not an issue. I was more curious about the fact that it was stamped on the back of the magazine than anything else and the AZ office threw me for a loop since any other time I've booked it's been a comp not a discount. Thanks again!!

Do you have to pay for the magazine or sign up for it? Did you call? I guess I will try tomorrow if they answer on a Saturday.
