downrunner Posted March 5, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2010 We will be going again to the Mexican Riveria. Last time we took the tequilla tour in Puerto Vallarta. Really enjoyed it and got a bottle of great Tequilla as well. Was wondering if there is some way to get that particular brand of tequilla (I believe it was Dona Englesia's) without taking the tour or going all the way out there? bobnsofi Posted March 5, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 5, 2010 you could try contacting them => http://www.haciendadonaengracia.com/ and hit the Sam's Club in Cabo or PV for a great selection at reasonable prices Sams club is right across from the pier in PV (free use pass for cruisers)
quincytoo Posted March 5, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 5, 2010 There is the Vallarta Mart at the north end of the Malecon, I think the cross over street is Allandre.......Vallarta Mart is mainly a tourist shop but they have many tequilas inculding 1921 cream tequila which is very yummy :) About 210 pesos a bottle http://www.tequila1921.com/web/en/products/tequila-cream.html We find the best prices on tequila at Super La Playa liquor stores they are located all around the city. We stay mostly in the southside area and go to the on Olas Atlas just down the street from Play Los Arcos. Jan 19th we bought two 1 litre bottles of Cazadore for less then 200 pesos each. La Playa does not sell 1921 cream tequila sadly but they have the best selection and prices that we have found during our stays in PV :) There is a Super La Playa located at the mall Plaza Peninsula (located on Av. Francisco Medina Ascencio 2485), just south of the cruise ship terminal.
