tom_uk Posted March 5, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2010 Just to cheer everyone up, here's a link to one of my favourite webcam sites. It shows several views of Mykonos town, including a live webcam, several non-live cameras, and a map widget. http://www.mykon.net/mtest/index.php Non-europeans need to remember, however, that this site is definitely on Greek time! - that's 7 hours later than EST, for example. So to see what sunset looks over Mykonos town, you need to be looking at this site at around 10am to 11am if you're in New York.
Dunmore2 Posted March 8, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 8, 2010 Very nice. Thank you for sharing that link. We explored the town 4 years ago and are looking forward to renting a car and seeing more of the island this May.
Rare TLCOhio Posted March 8, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 8, 2010 Very nice. Thank you for sharing that link. We explored the town 4 years ago and are looking forward to renting a car and seeing more of the island this May. THANKS to Tom for the web camera site! Getting a rental car is a very nice way to see more of the island, the beach areas, etc. Below are some of my visual highlights from doing that when we visited Mykonos. Plus a windmill shot. Enjoy! Dunmore2 Posted March 13, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2010 We always enjoy seeing your photos on cruise critic. You have a gifted "eye". Did you drive through the middle area of Mykonos to see Ano Mera? What did you think?
