Baby Food on Carnival

I read some posts and a few people said their cruiseline pureed food for their baby, does anyone know if Carnival does this? Also I read that Carnival had medal cribs, should I bring regular crib sheets or pack-n-play sheets? Thanks(:

Bring the sheets for whatever you requested...they have both cribs and P&P's. I doubt the cribs are metal.

Yes, they will puree some stuff for you...but there are plenty of things that a toddler can eat....applesauce, mashed potatoes, fruits, rice....easily chewed and digested stuff that requires no mushing!

Hello,

One NCL, we had a metal crib - white metal bars. My Son didn't like it too much. He ended up sleeping in the bed with us by the time we hit night 3 and we weren't getting much sleep either. There was applesauce available, I did bring a box of baby food with me as I wasn't sure on how fresh the pureed stuff would be. But i believe NCL also has a small 'kiddie' buffet table available where mac 'n cheese and other fruits are served.

Hope this helped :)

Ash

The cribs on Carnival are metal, a little smaller than a standard crib and the mattress is thinner, so a pack n' play sheet works best. I posted a photo of it on a similar thread a few weeks ago: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1144641

When we cruised, our little one was 11 months old, and I brought all of my own baby food in jars (or plastic containers, e.g. Gerber - lighter and unbreakable). I never asked to have anything pureed, so not sure if they could do it, but I just felt it was safer to bring our own food (due to possible allergies/cross-contamination), and because I knew it was all stuff that she liked. That said, the cruise was also a good opportunity for her to practice with finger foods from the dining room (rice, steamed veggies, fruit, salmon, etc.) and it was also a good activity to keep her occupied while we ate.
