IAMAMT Posted March 9, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2010 We are on the Zuiderdam for a repo cruise from FLL to Vancover BC in April. How do you get off for shore excursions and not get in the middle of those disembarking and then in return those embarking for the rest of the trip? We are planning a day at the zoo in San Diego on our own.

We're doing the same thing on the Oosterdam which will be in port on the same day doing the same thing. It ought to be fun............we were thinking of doing the Midway tour. Krazy Kruizers Posted March 9, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 9, 2010 Unfortnately if you want to leave the ship early to get to the zoo -- you will be among the passengers getting off with their luggage. We have done several repositioning cruises from Ft Lauderdale to Seattle. The ship also has to clear before anyone can get off. On our repo cruise last spring -- it was a disaster. The ship did not clear until after 10:30 AM!! Many people missed flights and it changed plans for those of us wanting to just do our own thing. Be certain that you take your passport with you.
