Splendour Food and Formal Night Questions

Recommended Posts

My Wife and I are celebrating out anniversary on the Splendour of the Seas - Eastern Med Cruise April 17th. I have a couple questions about the ship, etc:

1. How many formal nights are there on the cruise?

2. What is "type" of food we can expect. We have done plenty of Carribean cruises and weren't sure if the food would be the same or if it would be more American.

3. Casino - How big is the casino and does it operate in Euros or in USD? Also, do they have the same table games as a normal RCCL cruise?

I am under the impression that the boat will be roughly the same as any other RCCL cruise with different ports.

thanks again for making all the pre-planning tips!

My Wife and I are celebrating out anniversary on the Splendour of the Seas - Eastern Med Cruise April 17th. I have a couple questions about the ship, etc:

1. How many formal nights are there on the cruise? In 2007 we had 2 formal nights -- I believe it is still the same.

2. What is "type" of food we can expect. We have done plenty of Carribean cruises and weren't sure if the food would be the same or if it would be more American. The food will be similar to all RCI Ships.

3. Casino - How big is the casino and does it operate in Euros or in USD? Also, do they have the same table games as a normal RCCL cruise? I don't do the casino, but my memory is it is similar to the casinos on similar sized RCI ships. You have plenty of room to give RCI some more money. It operates in USD, not Euro.

I am under the impression that the boat will be roughly the same as any other RCCL cruise with different ports. Pretty much.

thanks again for making all the pre-planning tips! My pleaseure

We had a great time on Splendour -- enjoy your trip.
