ms Ryndam in stateroom dining

Greetings. Have cruised on HAL before but we never had dinner in our room but considering doing it this time on our verandah. Does the Ryndam offer the same menu as the dining room for this or do you just order off of a standard room service menu? If the latter is the case, does the standard menu include mostly sandwiches and simple entrees? A bit spoiled by the QM2, I guess. Thanks for all replies.

All American Hamburger - broiled 1/4 pound beef patty on a sesame bun with dill pickle & coleslaw - add cheddar or Swiss cheese

Wow, thanks for such a complete and detailed response. We definitely want to order from the dinner menu so it's nice that it is offered and thanks for the suggestion of when to place the order. The room service menu sounds decent as well. Of course, we won't go hungry.
