Luggage storage in Brisbane

Off for a cruise in Sept but it leaves from Brisbane and we live in Melbourne.

That is no worries going there-we'll just travel straight to the wharf.

 

But getting home is another thing. We will be off the ship on a Saturday morning, with time to fill in till about 6.30pm when we catch a flight home.

 

There are 6 of us and we were wondering-is there anywhere in Brisbane where luggage can be left for a few hours, for a fee?

I know years ago, when we were to travel on the Ghan, there was a storage facility at the Adelaide interstate rail terminal and we were able to leave everything there for a few hours while we did a tour of Adelaide.

 

We were hoping to do the same in Brisbane-but where, that is the question.

The Transit Centre in Roma Street has luggage storage lockers. Phone 1800 632 640.

 

There are also lockers (medium size) at South Bank Parklands (in the Stanley Street Plaza near Streets Beach). Cost is $6 for 6 hours.

Why not call Brisbane airport and see if they can be booked in early?

Callmewhatever, you could be right. I might do that. I did briefly wonder about it before I posted on here, but I was a bit worried in case booking it in about 8 hours before a flight might cause them to lose it.

I will check out all the locations though, see what is most convenient.

Anything has got to be better than lugging them around with us all day.:D
