sr5242 Posted March 14, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2010 I noticed on my roll call that for my 3/28/10 cruise on the ryndam, there will be almost 200 kids on board, with 100 of those being between 3-12 yrs old. In a situation like this, have the kids' clubs ever turned people away for limited capacity? I would be pretty ticked if my hubby and I could not get just a little time away from our kids during the cruise. we only plan to use the club on sea days and a couple of evenings, but would still like to have the option available. thanks in advance. Jemima Posted March 14, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2010 I've never heard of that happening. Not all the kids will participate. Possibly they use some additional space when there are that many kids. The ships used to use one of the meeting rooms before they added the Club HAL to the top deck. Possibly they use an additional room when there are lots of kids.
sail7seas Posted March 14, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 14, 2010 I've heard of them adding more staff to Club HAL when they know there will be many children aboard. That typically happens around Christmas and Easter cruises.
Krazy Kruizers Posted March 14, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2010 We have been on ships when they did have to add more staff -- especially around the holidays -- even cruises just the week before and after holidays.
