Conch Fritters and Beach

near the port? We would like to get off the ship, shop a little, eat some conch fritters, just walk along the beach, take a few pictures and have a few Kaliks. Any recommendations near the port within walking distance? Thanks!

Been reading a lot about conch fritters....how good are they ? I know impressions are individual but I am curious as to what they taste like. Thanks !! :) :)

The fritters are kind of like big hush puppies with pieces of conch meat in them. The conch is like clam in texture. Some of the fritters are better than others, some seem to hardly have any conch in them. Very good stuff!

My favorite place is Conch Fritters. It's right near the straw market and the Hilton, I believe. Great place for conch and Kalik.
